Elena Primikiri

Elena Primikiri served as Director in Piraeus Bank Green Banking, where she worked from 2006 to 2016. The main subject of the address was to design and promote innovative green products and services in support of the Green Entrepreneurship. During her ten-year experience in this direction and under her supervision, the Directorate has received several distinctions at both national and European level, while participating in many European Projects. She composed and organized an economic assessment team, providing the necessary know-how on green entrepreneurship and sustainable development in more than 2,000 investment projects. Academically, she has a wealth of teaching and research experience at the University of the United States, but also at the University of Patras, where she was a lecturer, and she continues to be a lecturer in numerous lectures and workshops on environmental issues.

She is member of the Company ECHMES Ltd, at sustainability issues, as well as acting for the Investment Committee Chair in Greek Fund for Sustainable Development since 2015. She works as a freelancer on numerous projects in collaboration with specialized United Nations agencies and programs (p. eg UNEP-FI, ILO, etc.).
