The Company
ECHMES Ltd. is a private engineering consultancy based in Greece. Founded in Athens in 1994, we work with a wide range of private and public sector clients to provide technical, environmental, managerial, funding, financial and regulatory expertise. Over the last 28 years, ECHMES has successfully prepared more than three hundred fifty (350) Environmental, Technical, Mining and Feasibility studies.
Our talented professionals are the core of our business and we ensure that they continue to develop their capabilities through an extensive training program and collaboration with top universities and research institutions. ECHMES is a member of the Hellenic Federation of Enterprises (SEV), the Technical Chamber of Greece (TCG), the Athens Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI), the Greek Association of Environmental Protection Companies (PASEPPE) and the Hellenic Association of Consulting Firms (HELLASCO).
ECHMES participated from 2019 to 2022 as a Project Partner in EIT Raw Materials. EIT Raw Materials, initiated and funded by the EIT (European Institute of Innovation and Technology), is the largest consortium in the raw materials sector worldwide. Its vision is to develop raw materials into a major strength for Europe. Its mission is to enable sustainable competitiveness of the European minerals, metals and materials sector along the value chain by driving innovation, education and entrepreneurship.
SERVICES
ECHMES offers a portfolio of integrated solutions, including Environmental Permissions, Environmental Management and Social & Environmental Risk Assessment. Our work is carried out with a Sustainable Development framework and in partnership with clients from the chemical, mining and metallurgical industries, infrastructure sector, tourism and commercial centers.
CONSULTANCY
We can also provide consultancy services focused on sustainable development, business financing and funding for research projects. ECHMES is listed on the official Register of Greek Consulting Companies (Reg. No. 898), held by the Secretariat for Public Works and overseen by the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure. ECHMES is certified and implements Quality Management System in accordance with ELOT standard EN ISO 9001:2015, also is certified and implements Environmental Management System according to the Standard EN ISO 14001:2015 and Occupational Health and Safety Management System according to the Standard: ISO 45001:2018.
