Mining engineer, M. Sc Geoinformatics NTUA. Professional engineering license holder: B class for category (19) Mining Studies and Research, C class for category (27) Environmental Studies. 

With over 20 years of professional experience, Ioannis has been actively involved in the preparation and coordination of Environmental Impact Assessments, Strategic Environmental Impact Assessments, and Technical Studies. He has a strong understanding of national and EU environmental legislation. As a Senior Environmental Manager and a permanent partner at ECHMES Ltd, Ioannis has contributed to more than 100 studies focused on environmental permitting and environmental management across various sectors, including mining activities, infrastructure, industrial and commercial facilities, energy production projects. He has also been engaged in environmental and social risk assessments, feasibility studies, sustainability proofing of investments, environmental auditing. Additionally, Ioannis holds extensive experience in the development and implementation of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and is proficient in specialized software programs such as AutoCAD, ArcGIS, and others.
